Minutes adopted from October meeting

Agenda adopted with modifications due to time constraints and the absence of MM.  Note: bylaw/constitution discussion is tabled until December meeting.

JL- For the strategic plan, presents examples of strategic options and goals, and examples from the SWOT analysis.  Explains that it is still early in process and will need to be presented to a membership meeting when it is more developed, after the staff and board have taken time to work on it.

All- Approval given to Jocelyn (canvasser) to reach out to individuals at green business and accept donations.  Disagreement about getting donations from businesses directly.

All- SB and SQ commit to giving sustaining donations to maintaining office.  RW commits to major donation for office for limited duration.

All- Campaigns possibilities are discussed.  It is agreed that VOE can still be a campaign, but that SB needs to research to see how viable it is.  Other campaigns mentioned with support IRV and basic Internet free for city.

All- Portland Public Schools it is decided may be an area that we can talk about.  (Before it had been discounted because it was seen as a state and not local issue, JL, SQ and MS were in support of it potentially being a local focus)

All- Group decides to leave December meeting time as the last Wednesday of the month, December 29th.
